Merlin DataCompass is a web based application for data access, data analytics and interactive reporting from any web browser on any local area network, any intranet or the internet. Similar to our other Merlin products, Data Compass is feature rich, designed with power and functionality in mind, yet presented in an easy-to-use graphical interface to support power users and novices alike.

All the data is stored and managed centrally and then presented across the room or around the globe by Merlin DataCompass.

“What if you do not have an internet connection?” This situation, although rare these days can happen. Perhaps you are reviewing order information with a client who does not allow “foreign” computers on their network. Merlin DataCompass allows you, with appropriate permission, to download the information you need to your laptop, storing it locally in an encrypted format. Now, you can review the information with your client with or without an internet connection. Best of all, the master copy is still on the servers in a managed environment, under the protection of corporate security policies. The local copy will disappear after a designated time period. This gives you the “Best Of Both Worlds”. IT can manage the data appropriately, while still allowing the business units the flexibility they need to operate efficiently.
